“The “Studio Notes exhibition presented a range of inquiry and practices of the CFAR Affiliate Artists by providing a glimpse of this creative community’s works through ephemera related to their art practices including models, tests, sketches, studies, and finished or unfinished work, etc. Getting things out of the studio and into the white box context created an opportunity to see work differently or experiment with exhibition strategies.

Additionally, CFAR Affiliate Artists opened their research studios during the exhibition reception.
